The LIFO Coalition posted an update on their website today that discussed the recent release of President Obama’s 2016 budget proposal. Jade West, LIFO Coalition Executive Secratariat, was quoted in an email sent to LIFO Coalition Members, stating, “As expected, President Obama again included LIFO repeal in his annual budget proposal. Congress is not expected to act on the President’s proposal – in fact, the two Budget Committee Chairs are not even going to hold perfunctory hearings on it – but the Coalition did not want to ignore the proposal. We released a statement opposing the proposal, which has been posted on the website and circulated on social media:
