The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released July 2018 Consumer Price Indexes (CPI) today. The Major appliances category increased 2.0% from June – July ’18, and has increased 8.5% between July ’17 – ’18. The Sports vehicles including bicycles category increased by 2.2% from June – July ’18 on a seasonally unadjusted basis, and has increased by 4.1% from July ’17 – ’18. The Recreational reading materials category rose 1.7% over the last month and increased 3.3% over the last year. The Vehicle parts and equipment other than tires category increased by 1.0% from June – July ’18, and has increased by 2.8% from July ’17 – ’18.
