Service Organization Control Report

Independent CPA firm annually examines LIFO-PRO’s service organization system in order to issue a SOC 1 Type 2 report (formerly known as SAS 70 Report)

Prepared in accordance with AT-C section 320, Reporting on an Examination of Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to User Entities’ Internal Control Over Financial Reporting

Specifically intended to meet the needs of LIFOPro’s clients & client’s financial statement users

Report on the fairness of the presentation of management’s description of the service organization’s system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of the controls to achieve the related control objectives included in the description throughout a specified period

It complements AU-C section 402, Audit Considerations Relating to an Entity Using a Service Organization, in that a service auditor’s report prepared in accordance with this section may provide appropriate evidence under AU-C section 402
