The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released November 2025 Producer Price Indexes (PPI) today. Highlights are as follows (all indexes on a seasonally unadjusted basis):
- Farm products fell 0.5% in the last month and rose 0.5% in the last twelve months
- Processed foods + feeds fell 0.2% from October and rose 2.5% since November 2024
- Textile products + apparel rose 0.2% in the last month and increased 4.1% in the last twelve months
- Fuels, related products + power increased 1.7% since October and rose 3.1% from November 2024
- Chemicals + allied products fell 0.2% in the last month and increased 0.3% in the last twelve months
- Rubber + plastic products decreased 0.1% since October and rose 0.6% since November 2024
- Lumber + wood products increased 0.1% in the last month and fell 0.3% in the last twelve months
- Pulp, paper + allied products fell 0.2% since October and rose 0.9% from November 2024
- Metals + metal products rose 0.4% in the last month and increased 9.4% in the last twelve months
- Machinery + equipment increased 0.2% from October and rose 5.2% since November 2024
- Furniture + household durables rose 0.1% in the last month and increased 4.0% in the last twelve months
- Nonmetallic mineral products increased 0.1% since October and increased 2.9% from November 2024
- Transportation equipment rose 0.2% in the last month and increased 2.1% in the last twelve months
- Miscellaneous products increased 0.4% from October and rose 5.4% since November 2024
